This Diwali (2016) was my kids 1st Diwali so I thought instead of using ready made lights why not make something different. Normally a bulb or a CFL is placed inside a beautiful lantern this light colour is fixed. So decided to use RGB lights instead of normal lights inside the lantern.

Last summer, The Verge met up with a company called Doppler Labs. Back then, CEO Noah Kraft, showed us a prototype version of Here — earbuds that could enhance and augment the sound around you. It wound up being a really impressive tech demo, even if the experience was marred by a few nagging problems.

Simplifying Interfacing Analog Sensor to Raspberry Pi

Raspberry PI has GPIO pins which provides easy digital interface for controlling digital devices and monitoring digital sensors. What it does not have is a GPIO interface for Analog Sensors. Basically Raspberry Pi has no inbuilt Analog to Digital converter so you cannot directly interface analog sensors to Raspberry Pi.

Scotland’s wind turbines cover all its electricity needs for a day

Wind power generated 106% of Scotland’s electricity needs.
